ATvantage’s Work Leads to 11th & 12th Full-Time District Positions

SANTA CRUZ, Calif., and SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – June 27, 2018 – After just one year of working with ATvantage Athletic Training, San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District and Scottsdale Christian Academy have decided to create full-time Athletic Trainer (AT) positions for the 2018-2019 school year. This marks the eleventh and twelfth position respectively, that ATvantage has aided in converting to full-time.

Both entities were previously under contract for several years prior and after contracting with ATvantage for the 2017-18 school year, were able to see the value of having a full-time athletic trainer. Each position will be in-house to support their student-athletes sports medicine needs.

ATvantage owner, Alisha M. Pennington MS, ATC says "It never gets old receiving the phone call or email that one of our clients has decided to make the move to a full-time internal position. They always seem apprehensive to deliver the news and then are relieved at my delight in their decision. It's incredible to look back over just the past few years to see that we are now at number twelve. This is a statistic I am very proud of!"

ATvantage’s work may be finished with these two clients, but the company remains proud of its ability to support schools and entities in realizing the importance of having the proper medical support available for their athletes and employees.
