To celebrate National Athletic Training Month, we put our own spin on the 2023 theme (per usual!)

This year we're focusing on AT business owners, with "There's An AT for That ✔️ -- business owner edition!"

As we continue to break the mold around how ATs practice in a traditionally minded profession, we're excited to share Dylan Hide's story. He is a great example of self-advocacy and doing things on your own terms!

Burnout is nothing new in the athletic training profession. As ATs we enter into it with big hopes of what it could be and then often find ourselves exhausted and depleted from the long hours and outrageous expectations.

When we say we support your other passions, we mean it! We're here to make work work for you and this can be highlighted by AT, Brett Hinton's story. Brett has been at his site, Monterey Trail in Elk Grove, California for the past 7 years.

In 2021, ATvantage acquired a contract to provide athletic training services for San Diego Unified School District which included Kearny High School. Finding an AT that is a good match for each site is one of our first tasks when signing new clients, however in this case we were fortunate enough that the current AT there was the perfect fit.

Something we're most passionate about is keeping athletic trainers (ATs) working in a profession they love even when their life circumstances change. This was the situation with AT, Megan Skiles, who came to ATvantage needing more flexibility in her schedule.

In the spring of 2021, Athletic Trainer, Meghan Yamamoto, onboarded with ATvantage for a contract in San Diego, California.

In 2017, Jeff Weinstein started contracting with ATvantage as a young professional. It was his first solo position as an athletic trainer (AT) and he was excited to take on this opportunity that had autonomy but also provided support to grow, which many positions for young professionals tend to lack.
